Your Advocate & Fundraiser for Portland Parks
Answer: a fun celebration of parks, volunteering, and the need to support Portland's park legacy.
"Parke Diem" is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit-powered initiative for park-loving people and organizations to unite, achieve, and raise awareness of our park systems' needs. Our goal is to enlist over 35 projects and 1,000 volunteers to create a new, highly visible tradition for the role citizens play in safeguarding and advocating for their local parks. Whether you're already involved in a park-related group and are curious about joining or you're are a park-loving citizen wondering how you can help, we want to hear from you!
What projects are available?
Parke Diem projects for this inaugural season are being devised all summer long by sponsoring park-affiliated groups as well as Portland Parks & Recreation.
If you are a park-affiliated group and would like to participate and propose a Parke Diem project, click on the Project Proposal Form below (or just send us an email!). You can see if your organization is already working with us here (coming soon!).
